We all have flaws — it’s part of being human. However, revealing your weaknesses too soon in a relationship can backfire.
Imagine this: You’re on a third date. The conversation is flowing, she’s laughing at your jokes, and the chemistry is palpable. Then, you casually mention, “I struggle with self-confidence, and my ex left me because of it.” Suddenly, the energy shifts. Even if she doesn’t say anything, doubts creep in. Can you handle challenges? Are you dependable?
Instead, reframe your narrative positively. For example:
